Nature Walk with Kelly Corbin

  • Dow's Woods Preservation Lane South Portland, Maine 04106 (map)

Close out Earth Day weekend with a nature walk led by Kelly Corbin, Ecological Landscape Consultant and Principle Designer and Owner of Living Landscapes Maine. Kelly’s specialty is native plants, and we’ll take about 1.5 hours to meander through Dow’s Woods and take a look at all this beautiful preserve has to offer us.

About Kelly: I’m a firm believer that our yards, no matter how small, can contribute to a better, healthier world. I’m an Accredited Organic Land Care Professional with the Northeast Organic Farmers Association. I also hold a Master’s degree in Ecological Design from The Conway School in Easthampton, Massachusetts and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Antioch University New England in Keene, New Hampshire. Both programs gave me rigorous training in reading the New England landscape and understanding the ecological processes at work here. As a landscape consultant and designer, I use this landscape as a reference point in all of my work.
