The South Portland Land Trust will give candidates for the South Portland City Council an opportunity to present their views on a wide range of environmental issues relevant to our community. Potential question topics include funding the South Portland Land Bank, the South Portland Open Space Plan, local vs. home rule, land acquisition bond questions, trails and maintenance responsibilities, pets and open space, and more. The public is invited to attend the forum and ask questions following the prepared questions portion.
The Land Trust has invited the three candidates to participate: Misha Pride, April Caricchio, and James Gilboy. Pride is running unopposed for the District 3 council seat. Caricchio and Gilboy are vying for the District 4 position.
Hosted at the South Portland City Hall in Council Chambers
