The South Portland Land Trust will give candidates for the City Council an opportunity to present their views on a wide range of environmental issues, including those related to the use of open space in the city, when it hosts a forum on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers. The SPLT has hosted a forum for City Council candidates since 2008.
All five at-large candidates: Margaret Brownlee, Mary Drymon DeRose, Richard Carter, Susan Henderson, and Katelyn Bruzgo, have confirmed their participation.
Members of the public are invited to submit potential questions for the candidates via this Google Form, or by emailing joanna@sopolandtrust.org. For those that cannot attend in person the event will be broadcast on South Portland Community Television (SPC-TV).
