An event for our SPLT members and those who are interested in becoming members to get together to make terrariums! Whether it’s a gift for someone this holiday season or you’re treating yourself, join us at Terrarium Portland for a workshop and fun.

We ask that you bring your own bottle/jar to build your terrarium in. Please sanitize it prior to the workshop to ensure microorganisms/spores don’t impact the health of your terrarium! If you don’t have a bottle or jar, one can be purchased at Terrarium.

Payment is required for fill and plants. Fill rates (rocks, substrate, moss) is $5 for small, $10 for medium and $15 for large (up to one gallon) bottles/jars. Larger than one gallon would be $20+.

Most terrarium plants are $7 to $10. Plan on using 1-2 plants! Cuttings are also offered from three different plans for $7, giving an option for a terrarium with some variety!

About our Host: Terrarium is a garden center and hub for DIY terrarium creations in Portland, Maine—serving house made snacks, soups, local craft beer, wine, coffee and tea. They are located at 98 Cross Street N, Portland, Maine.
